A New Mind gives you New Strength

Good Evening ladies, look at us as we rise up, having the courage to care about others, our church family, and our selves.  Let's continue to care in everything we do and care about all the people that intersect throughout our life.

I came across something when reading about Colin Powell (retired 4 Star General & former Secretary of State)...     Excerpts "It Worked for Me: In Life and Leadership"

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your own mediocrity. As you grow your associates will change. Are you surrounded by people that don't help you climb, that don't stretch you if;  you are what will you do to change that?

Consider these things...

1.  Never receive counsel from unproductive people

2.  Not everyone has the right to speak into your life

3.  If you associate with eagles you will soar to great heights but running with wolves will only teach you to howl

4.  A mirror reflects a woman's face, but what she really is like is shown by the company she keeps.

5. You become most like those whom you are in close relationship with (for good or bad)

So if you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you must develop the good habits in little matters.  Excellence is not an exception it is a prevailing attitude.

Well upon reading this it brought me straight to God's Word.

If we all begin "Daily" renewing our minds we will have the strength of our Father to change and care. (Romans 12:12)

So consider these things directly from Our Father

1. James 1:5

2. Matthew 12:36 -37

3. Isaiah 40:31

4. Galatians 6:7-10

5. Ephesians 5:1-10 and Proverbs 13:10

**And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men... Colossians 3:23**
