Good evening ladies, I am so blessed by todays pearl. First because anytime we can encourage each other to pray (Praise Release Ask and Yield) we are pressing forward to living in freedom everyday and secondly to be able to witness my own daughter growing and maturing as a woman that God has designed and purposed just does something wonderful for my mom heart.

Thank you Ms. Shayna R. for this pearl.......

Serve your Husband in the best way…Pray for him from head to toe!

**DISCLAIMER - If you do not have a husband do not stop reading you can pray for yourself & others head to toe**

For the past month I have been reading “Becoming the Woman of His Dreams: Seven Qualities Every Man Longs for” by Sharon Jaynes. It’s no "Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man", but it’s a true page turner and lines up with our Father’s word. It shows you everything you are called to do as a wife and woman of God.

The first quality is prayer!

With the guys coming off the awesome Men’s retreat I so wanted to know what went down. It could have been my nosey side coming out, or the fact that I long for my marriage to be one of prayer (together).

Pastor Rich said to me “He will tell you in his own time” and when he said that I just thought oh gosh I am never going to hear about the retreat or what it did to my hubby’s spirit! But I must let go and let God. As the days rolled on God spoke to me “Just because you gave him to me doesn’t mean your job is done” and needless to say the first quality of Sharon’s book hit me like a ton of bricks. The greatest quality of a wife is that she prays for her husband. Then like my fashion I said to God, “But I don’t know how To!”, and Sharon’s blog sent this“How to pray for your husband from head to toe” Take a look at this prayer it is awesome and allows you to open your heart to the spirit of your husband and not just the man you see in front of you.

P.S. You may find yourself needing prayer in the same areas…I did!

Dear Lord, today I pray for my husband, from head to toe.

  • His Head –That he will look to You Father as Lord of his life. (1 Corinthians 11:13)
  • His Mind – That he will have the mind of Christ and think as the Holy Spirit would lead him and not the flesh. (1 Corinthians 2:16)
  • His Eyes –That You will keep his eyes from temptation and that he will turn his eyes from sin. (Matthew 6:13, Mark 9:47)
  • His Ears – That he will hear Your still small voice instructing him. (1 Kings 19:12, Psalm 32:8)
  • His Mouth – That his words will be pleasing to You. (Proverbs 19:14)
  • His Neck –That he will humble himself before You and be strong, courageous, and careful to do everything written in Your Word so that he will be prosperous and successful. (James 4:10, Joshua 1:8-9)
  • His Heart-That he will love and trust You with his whole heart. (Deuteronomy 6:5; Proverbs 3:5)
  • His Arms-That You will be his strength. (Psalm 73:26)
  • His Hands-That he will enjoy the work of his hands and see it as a gift from You. (Ecclesiastes 3:13, 5:19)
  • His Ring Finger – That he will be true to our marriage vows and that our love will never wane. (Proverb 3:3; Malachi 2:16)
  • His Legs – That he will stand firm in his faith and not waver. (Psalm 62:6)
  • His feet – That You will order his steps and that he will walk in Your truth. (Proverbs 4:25, Psalm 26:3)
